I’m an entrepreneur and Fortune 100 leader whose career has been dedicated to empowering young people and creating innovative social impact programs.

When I was 12 years old, I moved to a small town near Dallas. As a way to meet people and help my community, I started to look for ways I could volunteer. Unfortunately, I saw that there weren't many opportunities for me or other kids my age to serve our community. This experience inspired me to start my own nonprofit that year. This nonprofit provided youth with microgrants that enabled them to create and lead service projects based on their passions. Throughout middle school and high school, I grew this into a national organization with multiple chapters serving over 7,500 students.

Because of this work, at age 17, State Farm recruited me to lead their innovative corporate social impact program: the State Farm Youth Advisory Board. In this role, my team and I were responsible for granting $5 million annually to youth-led service projects. During my tenure, the board awarded $10 million to important causes across North America.

Around this same time, I was encouraged to use the skills I gained from leading my nonprofit to create a for-profit company. Seeking a way to combine my passions for serving the community, helping young people, and being entrepreneurial, I created a youth sports and enrichment camp provider to provide families access to high-quality summer camps. In partnership with municipalities and private organizations, this company became one of the largest youth programming providers in the country, serving thousands annually and employing hundreds of young adults each summer.

After successfully exiting this company, I wanted to leverage my entrepreneurial skills for social impact, so I worked with SMU’s leadership to create a role focused on building large-scale projects and partnerships. In this role, I helped secure a landmark partnership with Toyota North America and Dallas ISD to create an innovative STEM-focused school that serves an under-resourced community. I also conceptualized a partnership with a major children's healthcare provider to address systemic access, equity, and retention issues in youth sports.

Now, I spend most of my time empowering youth to serve their communities and become the next generation of leaders.

In 2019, I challenged a student I mentored to complete 30 different service projects in 30 days to learn about ways he could get involved in the community. Inspired by this challenge, the student went on to start his own nonprofit, launching initiatives such as a podcast that interviewed executives to share professional advice, a scholarship to support DFW high school seniors, and more. In 2021, I co-authored a book with him called Better Together: How 30 Days of Service Changed My Life. The book details his 30 day journey and shares lessons he learned to encourage others to get involved in the community.

In 2022, I joined The Allstate Foundation to lead their national philanthropic efforts to empower youth to serve and improve communities.
